When T & G was engaged to provide engineering and structural design solutions for the new luxury development at Les Résidences in Gorey, we faced a number of challenges.
The vacant plot had been standing idle for many years because of the serious constraints posed by the cliff face at the rear of the site, the high water table and the main road running across the front of the property.

Millennium Town Park - December 2011
The idea of a Town Park was first put forward as Millennium project in 1995 and was later the subject of a 17,000-plus petition in support of the proposal. However, there were considerable delays as a result of funding issues and disagreements over whether part of the site should be used for housing or car parking.
It was not until 2010 that the project finally got underway and Transport and Technical Services were charged with completing the park by the end of 2011.
